Tucson Petting Zoo and Funny Foot Farm
Tucson Petting Zoo and Funny Foot Farm has a funny name, a not-so-farm-like location, and plenty of animals. We had a free afternoon while staying in Tucson and stopped by to check it out.
This petting zoo is filled with friendly animals and activities to keep your kids entertained and is fun for kids in Tucson. Let’s explore what this Tucson attraction has to offer.
Location
Located in an industrial area of Tucson, Arizona, in the United States, the Tucson Petting Zoo and Funny Foot Farm doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t let that scare you off going inside.
Animals
The Tucson Petting Zoo and Funny Foot Farm is home to a variety of animals that you won’t find in normal petting zoos, ranging from exotic animals to goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, and more.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about each animal living there, so feel free to ask them any questions. Kids can feed and pet animals like the Patagonian Mara and Kangaroos, which creates an up-close experience.
Our kids had a great time here during our short visit.
Several different ticket options are available and range from general admission animal petting to tours of the Capybara and Kangaroos.
At Funny Foot Farm, visitors can feed, touch, and learn about the animals living there. You can find everything from kangaroos, emus, patagonian maras, and chacoan mara to farm animals —all in one place.
Kids can also explore the farm’s large aviary of brightly colored birds like parakeets, cockatiels, and macaws. The aviary is also home to ducks, geese, chickens, peacocks, pheasants, and more!
Guides
The animal experts at Funny Foot Farm are passionate about helping families learn about animals in a fun and interactive way. The Kangaroo tour and Capybara interactive tour were our kid’s favorites. They also offer special events, bookings where they come to you, and a birthday party package.
Recap
While the location isn’t the nicest, this petting zoo is a fun Tucson attraction with friendly staff.
